Casa Rosa is 54 km east of Malaga airport, (50 minutes by car) on the Autovia de Mediterraneo E15/N340, and is reached by turning off the Autovia at Junction 272, passing the signs for Torre Del Mar and Velez Malaga and the large El Ingenio Shopping Centre. From here by following the signs for the C335 to Vinuela and Colmenar, with Velez Malaga visible on the right. The drive continues past fruit farms before starting to climb towards Lake Vinuela, reached in about 15 kilometres. From The Lake, Alcaucin, and Casa Rosa, are a five minute drive, well sign posted, and for which we can provide detailed directions. The house is approximately a: - • 20 minute drive to the coastal resort of Torre Del Mar with its long sandy beaches and promenade, restaurants and bars. • 30 minute drive to Nerja, the caves and the cosmopolitan beaches. • 15 minutes to Velez Malaga with all the large town facilities one might require, including the modern shopping centre, multi-complex cinema, hospital, street market and waterpark. • 90 minutes to Granada and The Alhambra Palace. • 45 minutes to Malaga city centre. • 25 minutes to the nearest golf course, The Bavaria at Caleta de Velez.
